Ultrasound Technologist - Radiology - Full Time (Clarendon)

Job Description:
Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Greets and confirms patient, assists patient with appropriate attire for procedure, explains procedure, length and expectations along with desired results. Properly positions patient for procedure and informs patient of what they may expect during actual imaging. Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedure, based on body habitus, pathology, and body parts. Processes completed images making sure they are of high quality. Continues to develop professionalism through continuing education programs (green light) and in services. Complies with all policies of the system with the intention of delivering the highest quality of service. Responsible for the proper care of supplies and equipment in the Ultrasound area. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Schedule:
Full Time; Mon - Fri; 80 hours biweekly.

Qualifications/Education/Training:

  • Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Imaging Program or; graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology with on the job training in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
  • Diagnostic Ultrasound experience preferred.

Licenses and/or Certifications:

  • Candidate must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or; registry eligible for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or ARRT.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
