Job Description
Job Description: The supervisor plans, organizes, and supervises the work of professional and nonprofessional personnel. Cooperates with other departments and coordinates activities as required for proper nursing care and departmental operations. Authorized to act in absence of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing.
Schedule: PRN.
Education Requirements
Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in South Carolina or Compact State.
Work Experience
Experience as a professional nurse in which potential administrative and supervisory ability has been demonstrated.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical Effort: Must be ambulatory with excellent visual, auditory and verbal skills. Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Work is inside with adequate lighting, heating and ventilation. Unpleasant sights, sounds, tense crisis situations possible. May be injured by unruly or confused patients/visitors. May be exposed to communicable disease.
Required Experience
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
3 years nursing experience with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
6 CE hours annually related to clinical skills
6 CE hours annually related to leadership/management skills
PSP training or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
BLS prior to hire.
ACLS, PALS, NRP prior to hire or within 6 months of employment
CPI within 6 months of hire

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
